Lots of people are asking me about my stories so I decided to go back over a few and post them here, hope you enjoy
Just letting you all know how I got on last night and I will begin my story by giving it the title of “Lambs to the Slaughter”!!! Names are changed
So Sam picked me up at 6pm to travel to Tramore for our night of mediumship which was to begin at 9:30pm finishing at 11:30pm. We got there at 9pm ish so good timing, we didn’t have to hang around too long and could get a cuppa and sandwich before we started.
So out we go at 9:30pm to an audience of teenagers, kids, babies and some adults. The bar is open so people are drinking, there is a disco on downstairs so the music was blasting up. We began, I was up first, did the usual short explanation, hands up when you recognise, we need your voice etc and off I go

Let that spirit go and moved on, nothing, then I got a sitter and the next one was same as first and then got a sitter for next link
Sam got up and it was the same.
Break time (phew) Sam and I were chatting saying OMG what is this about. Gerry the promoter came in and said that it was like a car crash so we questioned him on the audience, who where etc, what did they know about this night they had come to and it seems they were coming to a SHOW and looking to be entertained. Hmm okay, we were not aware of this, we were under the impression we were doing psychic/mediumship demonstration and that the audience knew this. So we adjusted our demeanour to SHOWTIME. Second half began and, I got the audience participating using an exercise that really should only be used in a training environment but it worked and folks we needed this to continue. We got the audience engaged and I got a sitter every time for my spirit friends, names relevant months etc (even got a girl saying omg this is freaky lol) When 11:30 came an announcement that the SHOW is over and that Sam and Susan will be hanging n for about 20 minutes to answer question, that was new to us!!. What actually happened is that about 20 people came up to us looking for readings so we did that and everyone that queued got a quick read and all went away happy. I got a few asking for my business card too. Grand so, night is over, lets get paid and go home
Oh no, not as simple as that. Gerry (the promoter) decided he was unsure as whether to pay us or not! Complaints, people walking out etc. No one walked out btw (1 young couple left at the last link when they knew it wasn’t for them, another couple left with their young children about 11:20pm) and when I asked what were the complaints he didn’t answer and changed the topic. So on and on went this convo but
He eventually did pay us the but €50 euro less than the agreed price (old Ireland promoter tactic!)
Sam & I had the understanding that this event happens every Friday and usually begins at 8pm but for this week it had to change due to the demands of the Hotel, this in fact is untrue. This was the first night an event such as this happened there so we were the guinea pigs and as the title says, lambs to the slaughter. However, despite the first part of the show going so slow, once it was explained to us what was expected (we were to be entertainers) we stepped up to the mark despite the loud music, the open bar, the drunk teenagers, the babies in buggies, the kids, the fact that the audience had not got a clue what they were there for yada yada and we worked our spiritual socks off. The feedback from the audience at the end of the show told us they wanted more because they wanted to chat with us. If we were that awful they wouldn’t have wanted to speak with us huh.
So there is the tale of being an entertainer as opposed to being a medium.
Great experience for Sam and I in that we saw the business side of things, we were victim to the usual games promoters play with such novices to this arena as we were, we are now more aware and I for one will not let this happen again and somehow I don't think I am an entertainer in this way lol
